This portrait is created freehand on the sewing machine. Drawing each mark, value and detail by manipulating the canvas under the moving needle. Each has a final result of a line drawing but with a more labor-intensive method that I chose as a dedication towards their preservation.

This bird portrait has been created by freehand stitching on a sewing machine! Otherwise, I draw with my sewing machine. There is absolutely No programming involved. I draw each portrait first as an ink drawing, and use that to trace guidelines of the image on the canvas using a fabric marker that fades or washes away. Even though I may use the same drawing per bird, each becomes a one of kind due to the process that I use. Stitched in black on heavy duty cotton duck canvas fabric and is stretched in a 6” wooden embroidery hoop, ready to hang!
Hoop pieces are stretched and attached with double stick tape to a wooden solid circle that is then framed with an embroidery hop. A second wooden disc is then glued down on back for durability and stability as well as a professional backing with a metal D-ring for hanging. Each piece is signed and dated along with name of bird on the back of each piece.

Can I exchange a masks if it does not fit?
No, all masks are not returnable due to health and hygiene. Each mask listing has dimensions for each size along with instructions on how to measure for proper sizing. If the wrong size was sent by mistake, do not open package, convo me and we will get you the right size that you ordered.
